William (Bill) LaTour

William A. "Bill" LaTour serves as Vice President for Facilities and Operations Management at Culver-Stockton College. He brings more than 20 years of senior leadership experience in higher education operations, facilities planning, public safety, and risk management.

Prior to joining Culver-Stockton College, LaTour served as vice president for operations at Des Moines Area Community College, where he was a member of the executive leadership team and oversaw college-wide operations across six campuses and multiple centers. His responsibilities included facilities planning and management, public safety, risk management, information technology, and infrastructure initiatives. During his tenure, he played a key role in developing a district-wide facilities master plan and leading major capital construction projects.

LaTour previously spent more than two decades at John Wood Community College, including eight years as dean of operations. He also served as chief of police and risk manager, leading campus safety, emergency preparedness, regulatory compliance, and enterprise risk programs.

He holds a master's degree in human relations/business from Amberton University and a bachelor's degree in law enforcement administration from Western Illinois University.
