Three one-act plays directed by Culver-Stockton College students will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14 and at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15 in the Mabee Little Theatre in the Robert W. Brown Performing Arts Center.

CANTON, Mo. — Three one-act plays directed by Culver-Stockton College students will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14 and at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15 in the Mabee Little Theatre in the Robert W. Brown Performing Arts Center.
Caylee Reeves, a senior arts management major from Paloma, Ill., will be directing “The First Date,” written by Kristyn Leigh Robinson. Carly Poteet, a senior elementary education major from Irving, Texas, will be directing “The Ghost of Green Mansion,” written by Clarice Wardall. Vanessa Bolen, a senior psychology major from Beardstown, Ill., will be directing “A Long Trip,” written by Dan McGeehan.
These plays are the senior capstone project in the directing course. All of the work — design, technical work, direction and acting — is done by students. Haidee Heaton is the professor.
Admission is free. The plays are open to the public.
