CANTON, Mo. — Carter Knake, a senior media communication major from Havana, Ill., was chosen to be a student panelist during the Degy Entertainment College Education & Entertainment Summit held virtually on Friday, Jan. 22.
College students and higher educational professionals participated in the event that connected the worlds of entertainment and programming with the importance of career planning and job readiness. The curriculum focused on topics such as programming, events, activities and student life on their campuses.
Knake is the president of the Campus Programming Council, a student-run organization that helps organize activities on campus at Culver-Stockton.
Degy Entertainment helps book more than 2,000 events annually for colleges and the military.
