The baseball game will begin at 6:35 p.m., featuring C-SC’s mascot Wildcat Willie throwing out the first pitch after a pep talk from Gem’s coach and C-SC baseball coach Brad Gyorkos ’15. Admission to the event is free for any individual wearing C-SC apparel or “Wildcat Blue.” All game attendees will receive promotional gifts at the gate, and Wildcat-themed games are planned for on-field events.
Culver-Stockton College staff members will be present at the game to answer admission questions for undergraduate and graduate students. C-SC’s Director of Communication, Alyssa Hummel, said this event is geared toward celebrating education in the local community. “As we celebrate 170 years of education, we know this wouldn’t be possible without community support, alumni, and families,” Hummel said. “We are excited to gather Wildcat fans for a night of America’s favorite pastime before kicking off another great school year.”
Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and attendees do not need to pre-register. Tickets are limited to the first 200 guests; children ages five and under do not need a ticket to enter.
