Culver-Stockton College is pleased to announce the upcoming Kraus Lecture featuring distinguished speaker and Culver-Stockton alum, Matt Waldron ’98. The lecture will take place on Monday, March 18, at 6:30 pm in the Merrillat Recital Hall, located inside the Robert W. Brown Performing Arts Center. This event is free and open to the public.

Matt is a distinguished product and brand development professional, earning his undergraduate degree in business from Culver-Stockton College and an International MBA from the University of South Carolina’s Moore School of Business. With an impressive career spanning various well-known companies including Wal-Mart, GameStop Inc., Colgate-Palmolive, Pelican, and Logitech, Waldron brings a wealth of expertise and experience to the stage. His international work experience in Latin America, Asia, and Europe further enhances his understanding of global business dynamics.

In addition to his corporate endeavors, Waldron is also an accomplished journalist and writer, covering technology, beer/brewing, and high-stakes poker for various publications and blogs. Currently residing in Miami, Waldron serves as Vice Consul for Trade & Investment with the UKTI, focusing on the technology and creative/media sectors in the Southeastern US.

The Kraus Lecture series holds special significance at Culver-Stockton College, established by Joe W. Kraus in loving memory of his wife, Kathryn Elizabeth (Betsy) Curtright Kraus. Both Joe and Betsy Kraus were alumni of Culver-Stockton College, with Joe earning undergraduate degrees in English and library science.
