The Culver-Stockton Fine Arts Department will present the Annual Student Honors Art Exhibit on April 5 in the Mabee Art Gallery from 3–5 p.m., with an awards ceremony at 4 p.m.

Showcasing a diverse range of artistic talent, the exhibit features works selected through a jury process, highlighting the creativity, dedication, and skill of Culver-Stockton’s art majors. Each piece offers a unique perspective, reflecting the depth and vibrancy of the college’s artistic community.

This year’s show will be judged by Adriana Brown, an interdisciplinary artist based in Hannibal, Missouri. Originally from the Kansas City area, Brown studied art and psychology at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, blending her passion for creativity with the healing power of art. After working in the mental health field for several years, she transitioned into a full-time career as an artist and business owner. She now exhibits and sells artwork across the United States, instructs local art classes, and co-owns the Alliance Art Gallery in Hannibal. Working primarily with acrylic and watercolor, Brown is committed to creating art that inspires and makes others feel seen and heard.

In addition to Brown’s selections, the Culver-Stockton president and provost will also recognize outstanding pieces during the event.

The Annual Student Honors Art Exhibit is free and open to the public.
