Abstract: The impact of psychology on performance has become an increasingly popular topic in recent years. Understanding how we mentally prepare for, execute, and recover from performances contributes to improved achievement in such varied contexts as high-level athletics, the performing arts, and even the corporate world. However, we have only more recently begun to understand more about how we can use this knowledge to identify and improve how individuals utilize psychological principles in areas such as medical rehabilitation, and how this information can help more people to develop their resilience and unlock their potential.
