Inaugural Student Art Exhibit Showcases Area Colleges and Universities

The Culver-Stockton College Art and Design Department was honored to host the first Intercollegiate Juried Student Exhibit. Virtual submissions were received March 1 and winners were chosen last week by Lindsey Dunnagan and Laura Bigger, art professors at Truman State University.

Theatre Department to Perform “Spring Awakening”

Culver-Stockton College’s theatre department will present Sheik and Sater’s award winning musical Spring Awakening, as part of C-SC Academic and Cultural Events program. The production, directed by Dr. Haidee Heaton, Professor of Theatre, will be performed on April 9 and 10 at 7:30 p.m. followed by a matinee performance on April 11 at 3 p.m.

Two radio dramas to be presented in Alexander Campbell Auditorium

The first radio drama is “Carmilla,” one of the early works of vampire fiction coming from a 19th century story. The second play is an original script by Richard Thorne called “The Shadow People,” which is about a woman haunted by mysterious people.

O’Brien, Walker selected to show pieces at Varsity Art XXV
