Michael Jones, a Missouri native and graduate of Missouri State University, was named as the new esports head coach of Culver-Stockton College’s esports program. Jones is a life-long gamer with years of valuable experience in various teaching and leadership roles. He is excited to take charge of the C-SC program and mold it into a contender in the collegiate esports scene in the years to come.

Jones is in the process of completing a contract as an English teacher in South Korea, and has been serving as an analyst for the Southwest Baptist University League of Legends esports team under their head coach, Chris Allison. During his time in Korea, Jones has been learning from and taking advantage of the increased competition on the South Korean servers which hosts the best esports players in the world.

Jones hopes to bring his years of gaming experience and his proficiency in games such as League of Legends to C-SC in March when he returns to the United States.
