CANTON, Mo. — Culver-Stockton College has been ranked 26th among all colleges and universities in the National Association for Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) by Next College Student Athlete, a Chicago-based for-profit organization that connects middle and high school student-athletes with college coaches in 34 sports and teaches them about the college recruiting process.

The NCSA recognizes athletic programs at each division level — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA and the National Junior College Athletic Association — that have successfully utilized NCSA’s platform to draw interest from potential recruits.

The 2019 NCSA Power Rankings are based on proprietary analysis using the 2019 U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges, 2017 graduation rates from the National Center for Education Statistics, the institutional net cost (or average cost after aid) from the NCES, and “NCSA Favorites” which identifies the most desirable schools according to current high school student-athletes on the NCSA platform.

Culver-Stockton was identified by 3,974 student-athletes in NCSA’s network as a school they’re interested in. Culver-Stockton was the second-highest ranked NAIA college in Missouri and the third-highest ranked college in the Heart of America Athletic Conference.

C-SC is ranked No. 9 in football among NAIA programs and No. 20 in women’s lacrosse.
