CANTON, Mo. — Long-time newspaper reporter David Adam started his new position as the media content specialist in the Office of Marketing and Public Relations at Culver-Stockton College on April 1.
Adam, 53, most recently was the sports editor of The Quincy Herald-Whig. He worked as the news coordinator, a page designer, a reporter and a sports writer during his 34-year career. He now serves as the lead writer and editor within the Office of Marketing and Public Relations and promotes Culver-Stockton through written content and media representations.
Adam, a Quincy native, is the father of three adult daughters. He also has broadcast local high school athletic contests for WGEM for 20 years, and he is a member of the Quincy Exchange Club and a volunteer for Birthright of Quincy. He recently completed his 40th year as a volunteer youth sports coach.
