U.S. News and World Report released its list of “2023 Best Colleges and Universities,” and Culver-Stockton College earned three prestigious rankings among midwest colleges, one of which landed them the number nine placement.

Culver-Stockton College ranked in the Top 10 by US News & World Report

C-SC ranked #9 for Social Mobility in Midwest Colleges, an increase of eight spots over last year’s ranking and 28 total spots from the 2021 rankings.  “We are humbled to receive this recognition, especially the large movement in the social mobility category,” President Douglas B. Palmer said. “This recognition reflects our commitment to our mission to educate students of promise with an innovative focus on experiential learning centered on real-world issues and problem-solving.”

Since 1983, U.S. News and World Report have provided nearly 50 different numerical rankings of colleges and universities that reflect academic performance. Culver-Stockton College ranked in two additional categories: Best Regional Midwest College and Best Value.

Ranked #26 for Best Midwest Regional College, C-SC increased eight spots from the 2022 rankings on this comprehensive measure. The midwest region represents colleges from Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. Additionally, C-SC ranked #20 for Best Value.
