Culver-Stockton College was ranked among the top 10 best online colleges and universities in Missouri for 2020, according to a ranking done by EDsmart.org, a Utah-based corporation that provides college rankings, reviews and ratings.
Three one-act plays directed by Culver-Stockton College students will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14 and at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15 in the Mabee Little Theatre in the Robert W. Brown Performing Arts Center.

Kim Gaither recently was appointed as the vice president for enrollment management at Culver-Stockton. In her new role, Gaither will oversee the offices of admission and student success, advancing the college’s enrollment vision and strategy.
Culver-Stockton College’s Christmas Choral Concert, which has ushered in the holidays at the school and the Canton community for more than 150 years, will be at 7 p.m. Dec. 17 in the Alexander Campbell Auditorium.
Culver-Stockton College’s Office of Financial Aid is offering students help with their financial aid on Wednesday, Dec. 4 and on Wednesday, Jan. 22 from 4 to 7 p.m. in Room 208 in the Herrick Foundation Center.
A gallery of work by Lon Brauer will be on display at the Mabee Art Gallery in the Herrick Foundation Center on the Culver-Stockton College campus through Dec. 20. Brauer is known for his work in figure, interiors and plein air landscapes.
Luke Blackburn, a senior physical education major from Leeds, England, received an outstanding student major award during the Missouri Society of Health and Physical Educators annual convention on Nov. 12-15 at The Lodge of Four Seasons in Lake Ozark, Mo.
Culver-Stockton’s mock trial team placed in 14th place out of 30 teams at the second Derek Moorehead and Irene Downs Invitational on Nov. 16-17 on the University of Missouri-Kansas City campus. Madelyn Haley received a top witness award.
Illini West High School from Carthage, Ill., defeated Quincy (Ill.) Notre Dame 265-180 to win the first Culver-Stockton College Scholastic Bowl Invitational on Thursday at Merillat Chapel and Recital Hall in the Robert W. Brown Performing Arts Center. Twelve teams from 11 schools participated in the day-long event that attracted more than 100 students to campus.
