Lucas Dotson, a student at Quincy High School in Quincy, Ill., was awarded the Josh Houchins Art Award during an awards ceremony for the Quincy Art Center’s 47th annual High School Student Art Competition, which opened on Saturday, Jan. 23.
Edward “Scape” Martinez is a California-based accomplished multidisciplinary artist and writer who has been involved in graffiti art since the 1980s. He will speak to the Pandemic Art class taught by Debra Scoggin-Myers, senior lecturer in art.
