Culver-Stockton College Unveils Naming of new IDEA Center
Culver-Stockton College unveiled the newest educational building on campus on Monday, November 22, 2021 as the Johnson-Turner IDEA Center, formally announcing the official naming. The IDEA Center, an acronym for Innovation, Design, and Experiential Activities, has been named to honor two distinguished alumni and trustees Mr. Scott Johnson ‘71 and Mr. H.B. Turner ‘79 who, together, provided significant funding for the construction, build-out and furnishing of the new space along with endowment funding for ongoing activities.

The Culver-Stockton College Child Advocacy Studies (CAST) program hosted a Mock Home Child Abuse Investigation Simulation for C-SC students enrolled in the Forensic Investigations of Child Maltreatment class. This mock simulation provided students with real-life scenarios of a trauma-informed professional across multiple disciplines.

Culver-Stockton College was pleased to welcome Reverend Dr. Delesslyn Kennebrew to campus on Tuesday, November 9. Kennebrew serves as the Regional Minister for Ministry Innovation in the Greater Kansas City Region of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). During her time on campus, Rev. Kennebrew met with student leaders representing various student organizations. She also delivered a keynote address in the evening to the C-SC community.
