To admit a college into the cohort, Colleges of Distinction uses an objective, in-depth methodology that is both qualitative and quantitative. Qualitative information is taken from admission experts from across the nation, as well as senior administration, faculty, alumni and current students from each nominated college. The quantitative data that Colleges of Distinction uses to assess each institution covers graduation rates, class sizes and enrollment data.
