CANTON, Mo. – Culver-Stockton College recently hired Sally Poole Kintz of Clarksville as a visiting assistant professor in graphic design.
Kintz is the founder and owner of Poole Communications in Hannibal, an advertising agency established in 1984 that specializes in digital, web, video and print. The company has won several Telly Awards and Communicator Awards, and it has received other recognition for creative campaigns.
Kintz has served as president of the Quincy Rotary Club, Hannibal Chamber of Commerce, Hannibal Lions Club and Affordable Community Education, an organization instrumental in fundraising and building a site for Moberly Area Community College in Hannibal. She has served as a board member of the Hannibal DREAM Initiative, Hannibal Arts Council, Missouri Association of Community Arts Agencies, and Hannibal Community Betterment. She also serves on the John Wood Community College Advisory team, Wakonda Artist Guild, Hannibal Chamber Promotions Committee, Great River Watercolor Society and Hannibal Fine Art Juried Exhibition. She also has served as a Missouri Arts Council grant reader to determine grant funding.
Kintz earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration with a dual major in international business and management from Columbia College in 2012.
Also a painter, Kintz has exhibited extensively in one-person shows and national juried exhibitions, receiving many first-place and best-in-show awards.
