Aulbur named coordinator of intramural sports at Culver-Stockton

CANTON, Mo. — Culver-Stockton College recently hired Tyler Aulbur as the coordinator of intramural sports.

Aulbur, a native of Huntsville, Mo., was hired in August to be the head strength and conditioning coach at Culver-Stockton and remains in that position. He previously was a graduate assistant for athletic performance for two years at William Woods University in Fulton, Mo., while also serving as the sports and recreation director and a personal trainer at the YMCA of Callaway County.

Aulbur also worked as an athletic performance intern at the University of Missouri, a strength and conditioning intern at Samford (Ala.) University, an athletic performance coordinator at Pella (Iowa) High School and as an athletic performance assistant at William Penn (Iowa) University.

He received his bachelor’s degree in exercise science and human performance and fitness in 2015 from St. Ambrose (Iowa) University. He received his master’s degree in athletic/activities administration in 2019 from William Woods.

Aulbur will coordinate and advise intramural programs, including the selections, training and supervision of sports supervisors and officials, in his new role. He will coordinate, promote, advertise and schedule intramural games on and off campus.
