With the addition of the state-of-the-art telescope, students will be provided with enhanced learning opportunities. Professor of Physical Sciences Dr. Robert Sadler is grateful for the gift received from Helsabeck and shared, “The large telescope is big and complex enough to provide detailed viewing of many sky objects.” Sadler will be the primary instructor utilizing this gift within his courses.
Professor Helsabeck served at C-SC as a faculty member within the mathematics department. He provided 16 years of service to the college and retired in 2007.
Alumni from across generations recognize the impact Culver-Stockton College faculty have on the lives of students as they guide them to bright futures. Receiving the generous gift of the telescope from Helsabeck will benefit current and future C-SC students for years to come.
