Culver-Stockton College Announces the College Restart Program

During the last 18 months many students had their educational journey disrupted by COVID-19. Some students chose to alter their studies to online or hybrid classes while others paused their education entirely until the college landscape returned to normal. President Douglas B. Palmer announced this unique offering and shared, “We have heard countless stories of students who chose to take a gap year, or pause their education, and are ready to begin again. These young people had their journey disrupted by a global pandemic and we want to help make their return to the classroom less of a financial burden.”

Culver-Stockton College recognizes the interruption in academic progress and has created an opportunity for students to restart their future in higher education. This unique program is available to transfer students who paused their degree and Class of 2020 high school graduates who chose to take a gap year due to the pandemic. C-SC is offering this group of individuals a financial aid gift valued at half of remaining tuition after all grants and scholarships have been applied for their first semester of enrollment at Culver-Stockton College.

Enrollment for the College Restart program is officially open and will be honored through the fall 2021 semester. To receive the 50% tuition paid by the College, students must provide an academic record of transfer or pause in enrollment, as a component of the admissions process.
