The surprise presentation was made during an online meeting of the faculty assembly. The proclamation was read by Dr. Chad DeWaard, chair of the faculty assembly and an associate professor of political science.
The Culver-Stockton College Board of Trustees elected Dr. Douglas B. Palmer as its 27th president on Feb. 6. Dr. Palmer has accepted this nomination and will begin his duties on July 1, 2020.
The construction of a facility to house Culver-Stockton College’s Student Experience Center has received a major boost in the form of a $100,000 challenge grant from the J.E. and L.E. Mabee Foundation, Inc., of Midland, Texas.
The Bank of Monticello recently made a $2,500 donation to Culver-Stockton College for its Student Scholarship Fund.
