Culver-Stockton College President Dr. Lauren Schellenberger, accepted the donation from United State Bank (USB) on behalf of the College. USB Senior Vice President Carolyn Schaller and bank employees presented the check during a campus visit. As a major sponsor of the Johnson-Turner IDEA Center, representatives from USB said they are honored to fulfill the commitment made to C-SC. “This gift is a token of our continued appreciation for preparing tomorrow’s leaders to be innovative and invested in the community,” stated Schaller.
Two Culver-Stockton College alumni business owners, along with the owners of a local coffee shop, have partnered with the College to participate in the annual Come Dine with Us fundraiser for student scholarships. This year’s event will take place on Monday, March 18. Participating businesses in the annual student scholarship fund fundraising event include Primo’s in Canton, Tiramisu, in Quincy, and Hebrews XI Coffee in West Quincy. A portion of proceeds from orders placed during normal business hours will be donated to the scholarship fund.
