Illini West wins first Scholastic Bowl Invitational

Illini West High School from Carthage, Ill., defeated Quincy (Ill.) Notre Dame 265-180 to win the first Culver-Stockton College Scholastic Bowl Invitational on Thursday at Merillat Chapel and Recital Hall in the Robert W. Brown Performing Arts Center. Twelve teams from 11 schools participated in the day-long event that attracted more than 100 students to campus.

The Zeta Pi chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon at Culver-Stockton College recently raised more than $400 to fight childhood cancer. The members of Zeta Pi manned a pumpkin sales stand outside of the Gladys Crown Center for 72 consecutive hours.
