We Create Award Winning Educators

A calling to education is a noble endeavor. Let us help you prepare to inspire others. Whether you dream of teaching a 5-year-old the alphabet or cannot wait to show a senior how to solve a calculus problem, you will learn the latest techniques from experienced professors who have been in the classroom. Choose from a number of education degrees that empower you to inspire generations of students.

The C-SC Difference

You will learn how to create an effective learning environment through hands-on classroom teaching in a simulated classroom with area school children right on our campus. You will learn innovative teaching methods, observe classrooms in action beginning your freshman year, and continuing every year culminating in student teaching as a senior. We will help you develop proficiency in the latest educational technology. Monthly professional development in your content area builds strong relationships due to small class sizes and close work with advisors. Every year, we will offer you the chance to attend and participate in professional conferences with teachers and school administrators. Your network will be well developed.

As a very happy member of the Culver-Stockton College education department, I’ve had amazing experiences and opportunities–from guest speakers at our monthly meetings to classroom observations in local schools. The program truly prepares future educators, and the friends you share it with make it even more special. Go team!
